The Green River Gorge near Black Diamond and Enumclaw is the premier whitewater rafting run in the Pacific NW.

The Green is dam controlled and, on most years, the bulk of the snow pack is dedicated to filling Howard Hanson reservoir for Tacoma's drinking water. It's a rare opportunity to raft the Green once or twice per season.

This year however, with a late spring and a 200% snow pack that is just starting to melt, there is more opportunity than ever to raft this exciting stretch of whitewater. Right now through May and possibly into June this year, is your chance to experience the best raft trip in Washington State. Weekday and weekend dates are available for groups of six or more so spread the word, gather your friends together and reserve your trip on the fabulous Green River Gorge with Casey Garland and his crew of expert river guides.

It’s 2008 and it's time to think about Spring Runoff!

One trip we really want to highlight this year is the incredible Owyhee River in Southeastern Oregon. Often referred to as the ‘miniature Grand Canyon’, the Owyhee is truly one of the great rivers of North America. This desert river is only run during spring when there’s enough snow melt to raft. Normally the Owyhee season is almost over, but this year it's just getting started. The late spring coupled with a 100% snow pack means the Owyhee is prime for rafting into June. We've revised our launch dates to take advantage of the increased potential for a sunny 5 day trip down this remote desert mini 'Grand Canyon'

On the flyway, the Owyhee is a paradise for bird watchers and fascinating for the geologist. We will float past towering pinnacles, multicolored landscape and sheer canyon walls rising 1,000 feet from the river. There are many challenging rapids as well as Indian petroglyphs, hot springs, big horn sheep and antelope.

This 5 day adventure leaves plenty of time for fishing, hiking, photography, music and campfire camaraderie. Did I mention stellar scenery? The Owyhee trip is specially priced at $800. per person and is easily accessed from Boise, Idaho. Please note vehicle shuttle from put-in to take out is not included.

The dates for this year’s epic Owyhee River run are April 22 - 26, May 6 -10
